It’s been 23 years since Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis drove off a cliff and into the hearts of movie goers everywhere in Thelma & Louise. For any Translation related help, visit Translation Agency UK
But the costars remember that iconic film like it was yesterday… and now they’re making sure Internet users do as well.
“Inventors of the #selfie at it again. #ThelmaAndLouise,” Sarandon Tweeted Thursday alongside dual pictures of her posing for a selfie with Davis.
It’s true: The veteran stars really did snap the first-ever famous selfie back in 1991, with Sarandon’s Louise in her signature driving scarf and Davis’ Thelma sporting memorable red curls.
Each earned a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role in the movie, which also introduced the world to a shirtless Brad Pitt.
Any time he wants to snap a selfie of his abs in tribute to Thelma & Louise, we’re guessing women around the world won’t object.
Jill Duggar-Derick Dillard Wedding Registry: Taco Bell and Weapons FTW!
Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard of TLC’s 19 Kids & Counting are getting married soon, and the sweet couple’s wedding registry is certainly eye-opening.
You have to give the gigantic Arkansas family credit, because if the Duggar wedding registry tells us anything, it’s that they remain true to their roots.
Registering at Walmart, Bed, Bath & Beyond and Amazon? Pretty modest for bona fide reality TV stars, but you don’t feed 19 kids with lavish spending.
Jill Duggar, who got engaged to Derick Dillard earlier this year, is looking for plenty of normal items, such as towels, pots and pans, bedding, and kitchen stuff.
Then it starts getting a little odd, though.
On the Amazon portion of their wish list, they’re seeking gift cards to Taco Bell, Burger King, and Subway … and for Froot Loops and Raisin Bran.
A shotgun and a rifle are also on there.
As the Jessa Duggar gun photo proved, these folks are packing and proud of it. Yet you don’t see weapons and Qdoba gift cards on a registry every day.
Good for them. It’s just … interesting.
Just imagine what her baby shower registry will look like once she gets knocked up two hours after tying the knot, which will totes happen BTW.
They may not believe in full-frontal hugs before marriage, but they certainly don’t use contraception once the I-dos have been exchanged up in here.
Oh those Duggars.
