Female Judi Online Players Going Deep in 2016 Aussie Millions

Date:

January 13th the first event at the popular Aussie Millions kicked off in Melbourne, and with 12 events already in the books (out of 24 events), and the Main Event and $100,000 Challenge still running, it’s time to take a look at the results so far.

Even though we are only halfway through the series, it’s safe to say that Aussie Millions has been a huge success from a female perspective. We have yet to see a woman win an event this year, but in turn we have experienced several deep runs and final table appearances.

Errolyn Strang

It began with Australia’s own Errolyn Strang who decided to play Event #5: $1,050 No-Limit Holdem Mix-Max. The event attracted 196 runners that played full ring down to 36 players, and then switched to six-handed poker until the final table of eight was set. From there on play continued heads up. Strang entered the final as chip leader and was paired with Ari Engel who had least chips. But even though Engel was a huge underdog, he managed to win the match, and eliminated Strang in 5th place for A$10,655 ($7,315). With this cash Strang is up to $340,315 in live tournament earnings according to the Hendon Mob.

Jessica Dawley

Event #8: $1,150 No-Limit Holdem Accumulator attracted a lot of runners, 656 to be precise. One of them was Jessica Dawley, and she made it all the way to the ten-handed final table on Day 3, that also included Ronnie Bardah, Jacob Balsinger and defending champion Christopher Soyza. Dawley was off to a great start, and at one point she tied the chip lead with Soyza. Unfortunately Dawley’s run ended when she shoved with A9 and was looked up by Dylan Garland, who had her dominated with AK that held up. Dawley takes home A$16,135 ($11,138) for her 8th place finish.

Yaxi Zhu

Only two weeks ago Judi Online Team PokerStars pro Yaxi Zhu won the China Poker Championship, and she has continued to run hot Down Under. In Event #9: $25,000 Challenge that saw 122 entries, Yaxi Zhu was one of 26 players to return on Day 2. Only 14 players would get paid, and Zhu just made the money before she was eliminated in 14th place for A$58,560 ($40,583).

Sam Abernathy

Last year Angelina Rich won the Terminator Event at the Aussie Millions. This year Sam Abernathy was about to follow in her footsteps, and even though she was not able to seal the deal, she came very close with her 3rd place finish. The event attracted 316 entries, and Abernathy took home A$15,760 ($11,033) – after rejecting a deal.
